Building 48 Roof project at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital including the removal and proper disposal of all existing mechanical units and all associated electrical and mechanical equipment, the existing skylight, curb, and drop-ceiling/insulation below, coping stones and flashing, the existing scuppers, and the existing coal tar roof assembly down to the deck. Infill the mechanical openings with reinforced concrete. Infill existing skylight with a sloped joist-panel assembly. Install hot rubberized asphalt roofing, new scuppers, flashing and coping stones.
